We are:

Lanky Japanese zookeepers.

Trying to:

Grow pink bamboo, because that's the only thing the stupid panda will eat this week.

Family Score:

57.76

Kids' Score:

50

Adults' Score:

65.5

Kids Say:

"The backstory is adorable, because it promotes world peace, and I like the idea of giving a panda as a gift. The little figurines are fun to move around, and the panda is really cute. I wish the goal cards were a little more evenly-matched."

Adults Say:

"If you’re just getting into board games, or trying to introduce some new friends to the hobby, this is a great place to start. A very satisfying blend of goals and options… Tilling the earth, irrigating gardens, and caring for a hungry (and easily startled) animal."

"The three-dimensional aspect of the bamboo growth is very satisfying. Some of the goal cards (especially those about growing bamboo) were not realistically attainable."

"A great way to teach your children about whether pandas are really bears. Note: I don’t actually know the answer."
