Kids Say:
"I really liked this game a lot. Of course, I won, and that definitely helps. It’s a simple racing game, which means that If you have a couple of bad turns at the beginning, it can be hard to catch up. Each turn is like a puzzle, and you have to plan well to execute it. It is kind of complicated, but when you pull it off, it feels really good."
Adults Say:
"First of all, I can’t say 'Steampunk Rally' without singing it to the tune of 'Zoot Suit Riot.' I love getting to play larger-than-life versions of historical scientists and inventors, like George Washington Carver in the cockpit of a steam-powered wagon full of peanut plants. There is also the undeniable tactile joy of handling dozens of tiny dice."
"Steampunk Rally is a fairly simple game to learn, but the available online tutorials are mediocre, so I had to spend a little more time with the instruction manual than I liked."
"It demands agility and rethinking of strategies as challenges present themselves. in one game, you have a gigantic piece of machinery that is spitting out power in 12 different ways, while in another game, you are struggling to keep a three-piece invention together under what would appear to be the same conditions."
