Kids Say:

“I tend to like games with dice, but I prefer them to have a little more strategy, like Steampunk Rally. This feels like it belongs on the shelf with Monopoly and Rummikub. If that’s your aesthetic, you suck, but go for it.”

“I love the cartoony style and the weird characters, but wish they had unique powers or characteristics. It’s very quick to play. I’m not saying if that’s good or bad. It’s just a fact.”

Adults Say:

“You could buy this game for the  theme alone. You’ve got to love skyscraper-climbing supervillains using the Japanese capital as the arena for their violent rivalry. There are a few tactical decisions that players make, but the luck factor is strong. If you like Yahtzee, but wish it had giant penguins in fishbowl-esque space helmets, this could be the game for you. Overall, it isn’t a great fit for us, but if you have younger kids who won’t sit still for a game lasting more than 10 minutes, I’d give it a close look.”

“My family’s reviews sound fairly negative, but in fact, we enjoyed it very much and would happily play again with friends.”
