Kids Say:

"I usually don’t love legacy games because they force you to play the same game over and over, and we played this one through all the way to the end. But it was fun enough that we didn’t give up on it. We were pretty into Harry Potter at the time, which helps."

Adults Say:

"The game progression mirrored the characters’ progression through Hogwarts. The cards with Harry and his friends are even replaced with more mature versions of themselves in later games. They get more powerful spells and items. Like the books, the game also gets darker in later chapters."

"There is nothing quite as exciting as breaking the seal on a new box every time you play, and discovering new characters, items, and bad guys. The game is usually pretty easy to win, but once the horcruxes are involved, things get tough and a little frustrating."

"We tried playing the Monster Box of Monsters Expansion, but it added complexity without adding much fun, so we only played a few times."
