Kids Say:

"So much better than normal Clue! They literally fix all of the problems that I have with Clue, such as that it takes so long to move and other people can move your characters around against your will. The Dark Mark cards add a new level of challenge."

Adults Say:

"We needed to include this just to highlight the ways that this game improves on the standard version of Clue. To expand on what the kids said, the biggest source of frustration in the original Clue is that it may take three or more turns just to get from one room to another. Harry Potter Clue lets you roll two dice, so you move faster. There are special spaces in the hallway, so even if you don’t make it to a room, you can get a reward. Other players can’t sabotage you by pulling you into the wrong room when you’re headed for an accusation. Plus, the secret passages move around, so you may have the opportunity to teleport across the board without having to use one of the corner rooms."

"In spite of all of these improvements, the strategy is still based on process of elimination, which is rather middlebrow. Good for smaller kids and philistine adults."
