"I didn’t enjoy this game much. If the theme was something other than planting trees, it might be less boring."


"You have to make sure you really understand the scoring, because if you miss some of the rules, it can mess you up. I agree that planting trees is not very interesting, but hey, if you’re a botanist, then check this game out. It involves a lot of plants!"

"We Londons just like the feel of plastic and cardboard, so straight up card games never seem to get our top picks, but I think this one is a winner. Imagine playing Gin, but instead of trying to make sequences in your hand, you make them on the table in plain sight. Also, instead of just putting your cards in a horizontal line, you can build overlapping sequences in a grid. There is an added element of defensive play that really ramps up the excitement. If you’re willing to waste precious space in your hand, you can palm a card you know your opponent needs, and pull the rug out from under them at the end."
